Colin May

Colin holds the position of National Sales Manager, based out of the FIL Head Office. 

Starting off in Taranaki in the agricultural industry 40 years’ ago, Colin worked for Ecolab and Gallagher Group before joining FIL in 2013. With his extensive knowledge of the domestic and international dairy sector, Colin leads a strong team of 19 Area Managers across the country. 

With his vast experience and passion for industry, Colin tackles all opportunities head on. Over the last five years he has extended his skillset to include a focus on mastitis prevention and lowering SCC on farm. “I have learnt a huge amount in this space through the work we have done with Farm Medix” he says. And talking of FIL, Colin goes on to say that “They have a good team of people that support farmers and working with them is very satisfying”.

Mountain biking, fishing and water skiing at Lake Rotoiti fill Colin’s spare time - and now his daughters are older he’s even “getting back into golf”!
