Born on a dairy farm but having “never milked a cow in his life”, Greg says the best part of his role at FIL is being able to provide farmers with “solutions to animal health problems and give our products the support they deserve”.
Working across North & Coastal Taranaki Greg reckons the area has some of the most diverse landscapes’ in the country: “What other part of the country can you ski in the morning, surf in the sea in the afternoon and the next day climb one of the most dangerous mountains in New Zealand?”. These types of landscapes also bring challenge and Greg is looking forward to becoming more of a specialist around mastitis prevention.
When he joined our FIL Team in 2019, Greg brought a vast set of skills, work and life experience with him. From working in kiwifruit, to contracting for a civil engineering company (heavy haulage & logging), owning an ornamental plant nursery and working as a Business Manager for Farmlands in Inglewood, Greg’s passion for the rural sector runs through his blood.
When he’s not working Greg loves to spend time rebuilding caravans, travelling and watching rugby. You might even catch him on his motorcycle, zipping around the coastal Taranaki roads!
