Crystal van der Heyden

Based out of the Mount Maunganui head office, Crystal heads up all the marketing and communication activities for GEA Farm Technologies in New Zealand, encompassing FIL hygiene and GEA dairy equipment.

From developing strategies and planning campaigns to brand stewardship, Crystal says she “really enjoys the diverse nature of her role”.

Working with internal teams, retailers and even the end consumer means that Crystal is innately connected to the rural industry. “I like to get on farm and shine light on our hardworking farming customers”.

Hailing from the South Waikato, Crystal now lives seaside
where she and her husband enjoy the beach lifestyle and watersports, however
she takes the chance to get back to her family farm as often as possible.

With a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Waikato University - graduating with a double major in Marketing and Management Communication – her previous experience also includes working in tourism and building supplies.
