Stuart Gould

As FIL’s resident Compliance and Safety Manager, Stuart continually monitors and improves safety and hazardous substance compliance upgrades at the Mount Maunganui manufacturing site.

Along with his extensive site knowledge, Stuart’s expertise in Hazardous Substance and HSAW regulations mean that all staff on site follow the correct operating protocols. Project managing any plant upgrades in the factory, he works closely with the HSNO certifier and any contractors that come on site.

With over six years’ experience in this current role coupled with nine years spent working as a Chemical Production Operator (including 5 years as 2IC), Stuart says that “FIL is a great company to work for with high-quality chemical production and great people – who are always striving to be best in class”.

A keen motorsport fan and past participant, Stuart also enjoys watersports – jet skiing, wakeboarding and fishing – and spending time with his young family outdoors in the Bay of Plenty.

Stuart holds certificates in Management, Occupational Health and Safety Co-ordination (Level 4) and Automotive Air Conditioning.
