Kate Barnes

Originally from the Wairarapa, Kate grew up around farming and naturally gained a passion for the industry. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, she transitioned into the agriculture sector and gained valuable knowledge in animal husbandry working for Rural and Vet Retailers, such as Farmlands, Masterpet and The Vet Clinic.

Now based in Canterbury with her partner and two young boys, Kate is enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that the South Island offers.
