Jamie Barrett

Jamie Barrett leads FIL’s Product & Sales Support Team, ensuring our products deliver what customers need – both now and into the future.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Victoria University, Jamie started his career in Media and Advertising. It was during his time in London, working in the Healthcare and Financial Services, that he discovered his passion for channel and product development.

Returning to New Zealand after a six-year stint overseas, Jamie joined Ballance Agri Nutrients where he held Product and Senior Product Lead roles and, more recently, was the Head of Sales Operations & Customer Services.

Having joined FIL in October 2023, Jamie is eager to deepen his understanding of our farming customers and what the future of dairy hygiene looks like to them, ensuring FIL continues to innovate solutions that effectively address their challenges.

Originally from Coastal Taranaki, Jamie says he’s happy to be back in the industry and part of a company that has a genuine appetite for innovation. He emphasises, “The value proposition of New Zealand milk is focused on a high-quality product and happy, healthy animals. What we do at FIL is the start of that.”

Balancing work and raising two small children, Jamie admits spare time is a rare commodity these days but occasionally you might find him fishing in the Tauranga Harbour or bowling “a few meat-pies” for a social T20 cricket team.
