Clint Humphrey

Working with FIL for 29 years, there’s not much that gets past Clint Humphrey. He remarks that he “loves the challenge and knowing that we (FIL) are ahead of the game when it comes to advice and products”.

With his real technical bent, Clint has very much excelled in the engineering side of the business. He’s always kept on his toes with the new technological developments that come into the rural industry, so it comes as no surprise that Clint started his career with an Alfa Laval agent - working on milking machinery. From here he gained a Milking Machine Testing Certificate and then a Certificate of Agricultural Engineering, both essential to industry. These now sit alongside his Post Grad Diploma of Business Studies.

Sharing a funny story Clint remembers… “A farmer years ago purchased a 1ltr of Been There and accidentally left it in the centre cup holder, while his new car was parked in the hot summer sun. The Been There bottle slowly expanded until it exploded, changing all of the interior to red – new car time!”

When he’s not working, he spends his time “chasing snapper from his kayak”, riding his motorbike and having fun!
